​Thank you for visiting our website! It is truly an honor to serve as the 17th President of the Tau Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. We are delighted to welcome you and invite you to explore our innovative programs, meaningful sisterhood, and exciting upcoming events. Located in the heart of Marina del Rey, California, within the dynamic Far Western Region, Tau Beta Omega proudly delivers award-winning service to our city by the sea and surrounding communities. Guided by our Sorority’s 2022–2026 international program theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood, under the leadership of International President and
CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, we remain committed to making a lasting impact.
This international program focuses on six initiatives designed to strengthen the social, economic, and educational well-being of communities locally, nationally, and globally:

The Foundation Initiative, Strengthen Our Sisterhood, serves as the cornerstone of this
work—reinforcing the bonds that unite us and support our shared commitment to service. Chartered on April 27, 1991, Tau Beta Omega is home to over accomplished, diverse women. Our chapter includes recent college graduates, entrepreneurs, professionals, and retirees, with members celebrating milestone anniversaries ranging from 25 to more than 65 years of service. We are united by our love for Alpha Kappa Alpha and our dedication to remaining Supreme in Service to All Mankind.
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® seeking a chapter home, we would love for you to visit Tau Beta Omega. Our chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, except July and August.
